THE NEW TREND FOR SKIN AND HAIR

OUR SYNDETS

In recent months, Syndets have become a plastic-free trend product as a replacement for liquid shampoos and conditioners. They’re ideal for washing hair and get good marks for their neutral to slightly acidic pH similar to that of our skin and are also often used in caring for damaged skin. In particular, they’re preferable to conventional soaps for skin diseases and for very dry skin. Since syndets are milder than soaps, they are reputed to be more tolerable for users with dermatitis and other skin disorders like acne.

The cleansing effect of natural (soap) and synthetic surfactants (syndet) is the same. While normal, oily and combination skin benefits from natural soap with a slightly alkaline pH, syndets are preferable for skin damaged by illness or other factors. Especially mild, refatting and nourishing ingredients ensure gentle cleaning for seriously damaged skin. Decades of trustful cooperation with our suppliers ensure high quality in the development of new recipes.

Our cleansing bars need no preservatives and are very economical to use, and their microplastic-free recipe and sustainable paper-based packaging are good for the environment.

Shampoo bars are basically liquid shampoo without water, so their composition is much more concentrated. That means shampoo bars need no preservatives, silicones and microplastics. As with liquid shampoos, the recipes can be adjusted to different hair types by adding selected plant extracts and premium oils. Their pH is in the neutral range, which seals the scales on the hair’s surface to give the hair a glossy and healthy appearance. Our shampoo bars are very economical to use, and their microplastic-free recipe and sustainable paper-based packaging are good for the environment.
Natural cosmetics have become a major trend in recent years, with bar soap and shampoo bars particularly in demand. Certified natural cosmetics may only contain ingredients with a natural origin (natural, near-natural and nature-identical) and are regulated by standards defining how the raw materials are obtained and processed for production of the final product. The entire production process has to be eco-friendly and sustainable. Many controversial chemically synthesised ingredients such as paraffins, silicones, PEG, synthetic perfumes and colourants, many preservatives and microplastics, are banned in certified natural cosmetics.
Only a few synthetically produced materials, for example some pigments that are not naturally available in sufficient quantities, may be used. Animal testing is not allowed and the ingredients may not be irradiated.  Genetically modified organisms may not be used. And sustainable packaging and eco-friendly packaging management are required.
After shampooing, the use of a conditioner is recommended for additional protection and to make the hair easier to comb.
